This egg-free (no-egg) version of the FatBoysBBQ.com Key Lime pie recipe is popular because it is
very easy
to prepare and
creates a delicious traditional pie which does not contain eggs. The
option is also here to make it with low
fat condensed milk and low fat whipped topping, yielding a more "Heart
Friendly" dessert. Both this Key Lime pie recipe and the
Classic Key Lime recipe version are great.

1 Large Graham Cracker Crust, pre-made or homemade
|
|
|
1 to 1½ teaspoons of Cinnamon to dust
the crust before filling |
|
|
6 oz. Key Lime Juice or, if you must, Lemon juice
|
|
|
1 14 oz. can Sweetened (or un-sweetened) Condensed Milk (regular or low-fat) |
|
|
4 oz. Whipped Topping
|
|
|
½ teaspoon Lime Rind, very finely grated (optional)
|
Mix lime juice and condensed milk until thoroughly blended.
Fold in whipped topping. Do not stir.
Pour mixture into pie shell, cover and freeze.
Top with whipped cream. Garnish with twisted strips of lime rind.
