We pride ourselves on providing expert Catering and Event Organization. Fat Boys BBQ carefully maintains the very best of equipment, staffed by Food Service experts. Our goal is to serve the finest and freshest BBQ meals anywhere, on time and at a reasonable price. We prepare all Barbecue meats fresh on-site.

We specialize in Open Pit, slow-smoked, real Southern Style BBQ, just like we serve inside of our restaurants. We can cater your event to any venue and for any number of people. We provide both portable Open Pit BBQ cookers and authentic Southern Style Smokers right to your event site and give your guests a memorable dining experience. Everyone enjoys the food. Everyone enjoys the show. We deliver and set up and serve, or offer complete on-site service and clean-up. If you like, we can simply do package delivery or you can pick it up at one of the restaurants. On site, all fresh ingredients are cooked over our large open pit grills and smokers.

Our BBQ menus are served buffet style. The standard serving duration is 1½ hours. Most menus include expert on-site cooks, buffet service tables with tablecloths, heavy duty, safe paper plates, eating utensils, napkins, moist towelettes and a full selection of condiments. Additional serving staff is always available as may be required.

We cater Corporate Gatherings, Seminars, Fraternal Events, Fund Raisers, Festivals, Weddings, Receptions of all kinds, Reunions, Sporting Events, Home and Office parties, Holiday events, various Meetings and Socials, both indoors or out. We pride ourselves on our timely and professional service. There is always enough food for the healthiest of appetites! For groups of 75 to 5000 and more.

FAT BOYS BBQ FACTS & QUANTITIES

Knowing the Facts and Quantity calculations of BBQ is necessary to calculate the quantities of food needed for a given number of guests and to estimate the cost.

You always want to have plenty of food for your family and your guests..... not too much and not too little. We use and recommend the following rules-of-thumb to estimate the amount of food that is needed.

	A pound of BBQ makes 4 large or 5 small sandwiches, or 3 Barbecue plates.
	There are approximately 12 rib bones in a full rack of ribs.
	A pound of catfish filet will yield about 12 pieces.
	A pint of sides makes 2 servings. A quart makes 4 servings.
	When offering 2 to 3 sides per person, figure 5 normal servings per quart.
	Sauces come with plates, sandwiches and Trail Boss style BBQ meals.
	There are 6 pieces to a 9" pie and 8 pieces to a 11" pie.

We can customize any menu and can provide any special foods that may be required by our customers. We pride ourselves on high flavor Fat Boys foods served anywhere.

Realistically, we can not agree to accommodate all requests for Catering. We try, but geography and timing may make any given job unacceptable to us. Please check with our Catering Manager. Our commitment to serve you will be in writing.

At Catered events, we do not manage an open bar or the serving of alcoholic beverages.

A la carte prices are quoted on a per person basis. Categories of BBQ entree items, side dishes, beverages, desserts, etc., are all quoted separately. Pricing does not include sales tax and an optional gratuity for excellent service. Menu items may be substituted, upgraded or removed at a corresponding price. A 50% deposit is required to hold your event date and the balance is due on or before the day of the catered event.
